Insights analysis

At a glance the extensive analysis tools show you your skills, competences, scale of values and preferred behavior in an easily understood manner. Your natural and your acquired behavior are shown graphically in the INSIGHTS wheel.

You are told:

  • At what am I competent?
  • In what way do I carry out my duties?
  • What are my motives, my personal interests and motivation systems?

Your natural behavior is compared with your professionally acquired behavior. In this way you learn which functions naturally come easy to you, and which functions you can carry out, but with increased demands being placed on your energy.

Of course, this enables personnel consultants to quickly recognize which candidate has the best chance of filling a particular vacant position successfully. They can recognize immediately whether a person is suitable for the team, or whether conflicts could occur.


Theory

The theory behind the INSIGHTS MDI® potential analyses is given in the scientific work of Carl Gustav Jung and William M. Marston. The PIW model – personal interests, attitudes and values is based on the work by Eduard Spanger. Bill J. Bonnstetter masterminded the development of INSIGHTS MDI®. Today INSIGHTS MDI® is continually undergoing further development by Bonnstetter and his company SuccessInsightsTM International with the introduction of new instruments.

INSIGHTS MDI® is being continually updated and tested, using correlation analyses and validity studies, among others. Extensive statistical checks on reliability and validity are carried out at regular intervals by American and European universities.

The Version V3 of INSIGHTS MDI® used since the end of 2006 is based on a validation and standardization study using almost 2000 volunteers in German-speaking countries. The individual standard values determined for German-speaking countries guarantee the highest precision for INSIGHTS analyses of the target groups of the method in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
